En el primer momento en el que tanto Juan como Julio me invitaron a trabajar en su proyecto de "Bufonadas" no pensé que el trabajo fuese tan satisfactorio, primero por el trabajo como actor y segundo por la riqueza humana de estos dos pedazos de actores.
Siempre he pensado que el trabajo como actor va en paralelo al trabajo como individuo, cuantos mas obstáculos se salten en la vida, mejor capacidad y matices tienen estos personajes.
A Juan león le conocí hace más de 25 años en un lugar llamado la escuela de calor y al lado del mar, y desde entonces y hasta ahora nos hemos perseguido, buscado, despedidos, encontrados, y siempre visitándonos periódicamente, parece que no queremos deshacernos el uno del otro.
Como persona es integro, tenaz, afable, cercano, amigo... en definitiva un ser humano en constante transformación y cambios. Juan ya no es el de antes, pero seguro que no será como el de un mañana, porque será diferente.
Como actor siempre le ha perseguido el amor hacia esta profesión y desde ahí ha lanzado todas sus armas, ha sido fiel a si mismo, contundente en sus acciones, y fogoso en sus decisiones, trabajador, insistente. Por mucho que quieras Juan tu alma estará siempre ligada a las tablas, al polvo del telón abriéndose y cerrándose, y tus palabras preferidas serán de por vida "quedan cinco minutos".
A Julio le conocí hace unos 20 años y por medio de Juan, siempre que me hablaban de él, me decían "el otro día le vi en.... y hacia de...." "oye y tu le conoces...... que guapo es..... y que voz más bonita" y yo les respondía " si le conozco, y cuando le miro a los ojos tengo que decirte que le quiero" y le quiero porque cuando se hace pequeño, yo le veo muy grande, porque cuando llora me estremece y me acaricia, porque cuando ríe, ríe sin frustraciones y me arrastra. Me arrastra su convicción con la profesión. En
definitiva, si seguir intentándolo es de valiente, Julio, tu eres mi Gladiador preferido.
Julio y Juan sólo quiero que la vida os quiera y os trate como lo que sois, dos personas muy valiosas, dos hombres grandes, y a los grandes hombres hay que quererlos y tenerlos en cuenta.
.....y yo manu medina os quiero y os tengo en cuenta.
